Total Tattoo: Out Now!
Total Tattoo has a new issue out, and it looks absolutely fantastic! The magazine has had a bit of a makeover recently, and I love it. There are too many magazines that resemble the likes of Nuts or Zoo, but Total Tattoo has shown that they’re one of the classier tattoo magazines, resembling something an adult would buy rather than a teenage boy. More importantly than this, though, is the actual content of the magazine. This issue certainly does not disappoint. From the website, here are this month’s highlights:
Issue 125 of Total Tattoo Magazine has hit the shelves now
In Total Tattoo this month we get to chat with the tattoo legend Nikko Hurtado, not only a phenomenal artist but also an amazing guy. James met up with Mark Bester from Marked for life to discuss his amazing wildlife tattoos. From the south coast of England we had the pleasure of talking with the crew at Tattoo Workshop, and we have the great honour of presenting Luca Ortis’s wonderful interview with Ichi Hatano, accompanied with his large scale Japanese tattoos.
Part two of our ‘Backpiece’ opinion column. Dan Stone from Electric Buddha Tattoo continues with his personal views on tattoo conventions in the UK at the moment. Rodrigo Souto from Black Garden in London shares his passion for the peony ‘The king of flowers’ with examples of placement, scale and application. World renowned Sci-fi artist Patrick J Jones talks us through his lifetime love affair with oils.
The amazing Dave Koenig presents another super collection of free flowing stylised illustrations in our Private View section. Cult Classic tattoo from Essex show off their talents in our ‘In Focus’ feature, and this month’s stunning cover model Lauren Brock shares her tattoo story.
This month Travellin’ Mick reports from one of Italy’s premier conventions The Florence Show. Whilst Perry travels to his home land of Essex to visit ‘The East Coast Tattoo Convention’ where a party is guaranteed.
Our huge Gallery is – as always – packed full of inspirational tattoos.
