This Weekend: Tattoo Tea Party

This weekend will mark the second annual Tattoo Tea Party in Manchester, and it looks like it will be a good weekend! It’s all taking place at Event City, in the middle of Manchester, and there’s so much going on that anyone going should have a great time.

The artist list is buzzin’, and you can see that here. This convention aims to focus “on the multi-national melting pot of incredible tattoo talent plying it’s trade in the UK and Ireland”, so you won’t see any international tattooers here. It is a great list though, and it’s worth checking it out!

They also have loads of other bits and bobs going on, such as a ‘Gentleman’s Deathmatch’, where all beef within tattooing can be fought out for charity! That sounds like a laugh for sure.

There will be the usual things like vendors and a competition, too, and loads of entertainment as well.

The tickets for this are 16GPB for a day, or 27GPB for the weekend, and can be bought here!

Also, if you’d like to know more about this convention, I would recommend reading the review Cosmic Tattoo‘s Alan Aldred wrote for us last year, which was great! You can click here to see that; here’s a short excerpt:

Check out of the hotel Sunday morning load everything up into our cars for a hasty journey home Sunday evening and back to event city to carry on tattooing! Sunday went pretty quick, tattooed Poppy for about three hours to finish off her piece and then chilled! Chatted to friends old and new and just took it all in!

Overall a really well put together convention and I’m looking forward to next years show!
