Not Long Now: The Brighton Convention!

The Brighton Tattoo convention is just around the corner, and there are some fantastic things happening this year! The convention, which is now taking place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel, looks even bigger and better than it has ever been, and will be a fantastic weekend.

First off, the artist list is fantastic. There are so many great tattooers going to this convention, I can’t even narrow down a list of my favourites to tell you. There will be tattooers from all over the world, so if you’re going you need to check out the list here, because you never know if your favourite tattooer might be there.

Guest Spot Alert! Also, as promised, we have some details on Eli Falconette’s guest spot prior to the convention. Eli will be working at Inkslingers in Newcastle before he and Ian Parkin go to Brighton. He’ll be there from the 10th of February, and you can find out more about that here.

As well as this, there’ll also be the usual Total Tattoo competition at the show, which is easily the best tattoo convention competition you could win! It’s independently judged, free to enter, and you won’t get any tacky shit for an award if you win. You’ll be able to see some absolutely outstanding work from all over the world from there (as well as everywhere else at the show, of course!).

Space Alert! Gray Silva has some space at the convention on Sunday. It must be a good idea, and it must be his style. Feel free to message him here to make enquiries.

There are also seminars and art galleries, including seminars on Japanese iconography and mythical creatures. If you’d like to be in one of those seminars, you’ll have to let Woody (the convention’s organiser know) first. You can find out more about that here.

As well as bands, trade stalls, and all the usual banter at shows, this is all looking fantastic. If you live near Brighton, you have to go to this show. You can get your tickets here– hurry before they’re all gone!
