Triplesix are Expanding their Team!

One of the North East’s finest tattoo shops has an opening for a permanent tattoo artist. Triplesix Studios in Sunderland are looking for a fourth tattooist to join their crew, working alongside owner Bez, Demon, and Pixie. The shop also features regular guest artists – Swedish artist Marcus Körling was a recent visitor.

Between them the artists cover every style of tattooing. Bez himself does everything from biomech to traditional Japanese to photo realistic portraits, and is perhaps best known for his striking colourwork.

The studio has just undergone a complete refit which is almost complete, and it’s safe to say it looks amazing, a bit like a brand spanking new version of the Starship Enterprise but with swimming tropical fish projected floor to ceiling on every wall (there’s a cool video of this on Triplesix’s Facebook page). And really, who doesn’t want to get tattooed inside a massive aquarium?

No doubt Bez is going to be inundated with interested prospective tattooers, but listen carefully, this is what he wants: “We ain’t looking for scratchers or any new apprentices…just good solid work with a good attitude”, adding, “We are looking for a more traditional stye tattooist to complement our existing portfolio”

Can’t say fairer than that.

If you’re interested, you can pop down to the studio yourself, or message Bez here.
