Min Jeong Seo’s porcelain Casts

It’s Bank Holiday Monday here and I should have my feet up with a Star Wars DVD, but here I am writing for you guys- I know, I give you so much(!). Anyway, I found these on a fantastic website called My Modern Met and I thought you’d like them. Min Jeong Seo is a Korean artist, who’s used moulds of ballet dancers to create ‘tattooed’ porcelain art. I love how the Japanese style sleeves she’s painted here reach all the way out to the figures’ fingers- if ink held better in hands and fingers, I’d love to see something like this in tattoo artists’ work! You can see another picture after the jump!
