Tattoo.TV News Round-up

This week on Tattoo.TV: grannies, colouring books and Hayley Cropper. No honestly, I kid you not. As always, Tattoosday UK is not affiliated with Tattoo.TV in any way, this is just something I wrote for someone else which you might like.

imageA New Chapter for Sophie

On the same week which marks the third anniversary of Sophie Lancaster’s death, a new supporter of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation surfaced- and I couldn’t help but stick this fantastic picture of her playing Corrie’s Hayley Cropper on Tattoo.TV, haha. Yes, TV’s Julie Hasmondhalgh is supporting Sophie with a fantastic creative writing competition, which should launch next year. What a fantastic start to the week! Read all about it here.

Why a Tattoo? Why not?

You’ve all probably already heard about this story, but there was no way I was going to turn down writing about it just because someone else had! The story’s fantastic: 101 year old Mimi Rosenthal said a big ‘eff you!’ to stereotypes and the like by getting her third tattoo this week. She’ll regret that when she’s older. Read more here.

Tattoo Auctions: Now Live

You lot already probably know about Tattoo Auctions, because I wrote about it here this week. If you haven’t, I’d recommend checking it out either here or on this site- just a note though, my cack-handed absent mind has put the wrong address on the Tattoo.TV page- I’m off to change that now to make sure it’s correct!

Color This Book Out Next Week!

This is another article I’ve just had to edit- it seems that technology has failed me with putting a title on the article! It’s all fixed now, so I apologise- sometimes you could be Earnest Hemmingway but still have a crappy looking article because the Internet doesn’t like you. Anyway, yes, Black13 Tattoo Studio have another colouring book coming out- fantastic stuff! If it’s anything like the last one, it’ll be amazing. You can find out more about that, and where to buy it, by clicking here.
