Inkslingers Newcastle: Turnin’ It To 11.
There have been a billion changes at Inkslingers, and I haven’t even told you guys about it. Sorry about that. While the lovely Hayley Parkin is now on her maternity leave, Ian Parkin and Lauren Stephens haven’t been left high and dry, as they have two new tattooers in the shop! Gav Lyons is now … Read more
Ian Parkin: Globetrotter!
I remember when I first met Ian Parkin around five years ago, and he never did guest spots or tattoo conventions. Now, he has them coming out of his ears! For a guy who’s very highly in demand right now (booked up until June at Inkslingers!), the guest spots he’s doing are probably a relief … Read more
Filler: Ian Parkin will be doing a guest spot in Scotland for one day only at the start of next month. On the 4th of February, he’ll be at Edward Staple’s Den of Iniquity, doing gypsy heads for 150GPB each. He’ll only be there for a day, so if you’re around, make sure you pop in and get yourself a gypsy head from this fantastic tattooer! Click here for more information.

Christmas? Well, get tattooed, then!
It’s nearly Christmas! Right now, for me, that means desperately trying to finish university assignments and being disappointed by a damn advent calendar on a daily basis (a bird? What does that have to do with Christmas?!). It also means, though, that there are presents to be had. Now, Marisa at Needles and Sins has … Read more
Ian Parkin on on BBC Newcastle
Our mate Ian Parkin at Inkslingers, in Newcastle, was on the radio today talking about the dangers of DIY tattooing- great stuff! This is, of course, part of the BBC’s on-going focus on unlicensed tattooing, which overall has been quite successful, especially in contrast to some mainstream publications’ ideas on tattooing. The interview is quite … Read more
