The Gypsy Gentleman III: Finally on my Radar
Wow guys, how the hell did this one get past me? I feel like an absolute moron. The Gypsy Gentleman’s third episode has been online for over two weeks. This is what happens when I try to keep away from Facebook, I end up not knowing things that I should.
This episode takes place in San Francisco, and features Jason Kundell and George Campise. Both tattooers are absolutely fantastic. In fact, I remember spending a whole afternoon one day staring at George Campise’s work.
The tattooers themselves is one thing, but the fact this is in San Francisco is even better. It’s an absolutely wonderful city with a rich culture. In this episode, we’re taken down to see many cool things around the city, including the Muse Meccanique, which is the largest antique arcade museum.
The guys also spend some time in the Asian Art Museum, which is where they find inspiration for the tattoos they end up working on afterwards. Once again it shows a great example of the processes behind how great tattooers come out with their work, alongside interviews which give even more insight.
Anyway, it really rocks, and I have to say the HD and amazing production of this is worth a mention too. See the video below:
