Tattoo.TV Last Week
We’re back from the bank holiday, did you miss us? Let’s ease back into things with last week’s Tattoo.TV news. As always, Tattoosday UK is not affiliated with Tattoo.TV in any way, this is just some shit I wrote for someone else which you might like.

Tattoos: A Part of the First Amendment?
The man to your left there is Johnny Anderson, of Yer Cheat’n Heart Tattoo studio in California. He’s been fighting a really interesting case after being refused to open a new tattoo studio in the state. Johnny claims it’s a breach of his first amendment rights, as tattooing is a form of artistic expression. Find out more about that here.

Three New Books You Need in your Collection
Last weekend Guy Aitchison debuted three books at Hell City, and they look awesome. The books are Innerstate by Guy, which is part of a DVD doc, Pint Sized Paintings by Durb Morrison and Tattoo Prodigies (right) by Mike Devries. Find out more and where to buy these lovely books by clicking here.

A Beautiful Silver Lining for the Illustrated Lady
Julia Gneuse has been once again crowned the most tattooed woman in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records. What’s interesting about this story isn’t actually that she has so many tattoos, but the fact that what started this fantastic journey is the fact she suffers from a skin disease which scars her body- her tattoos are a way to hide this. It’s a lot better if you read it here, haha.

Advertising Just Became Cooler
What do you do when you’re told by snooty council officials that you’re not allowed to advertise your tattoo studio on the side of a bus? You make sure every car in the area proudly displays your advert instead, of course! A big eff you to Ocean City council can be seen right here.
And that’s all for this week, folks! If you like Tattoo.TV, don’t forget to vote for them in the UK Industry Awards by clicking on the banner below.
