Beautiful Joy Division Tattoo by Thomas Hooper

I am a big fan of Joy Division. As you may or may not know, this month marked the 30th anniversary of lead singer Ian Curtis’ death, and to pay tribute to him, the town of Macclesfield, where he grew up, is holding anexhibit. While I was having a look at this on the internet, I couldn’t help but have a look around to see if anyone has a great Joy Division tattoo. Well, I found this, and I’d like to share it all of you. This is from the album cover for Unknown Pleasures, and is wonderful. The lines are spot on and tattooed beautifully. I especially loved finding out that it’s by one of my favourite tattoo artists, Thomas Hooper. What a great way to end the week!
