UV Monkey Keeps Your Ink Nice!

p2366_mainSo here’s something I bet you never thought of doing. As you’re probably aware, the sun can be more than a bastard to your skin- nevermind tattooed skin. UV rays can age the skin really quickly, and when that skin is tattooed, it’s not going to be as bright as it once was, and might even be wrinkly before its time. That’s where a really handy little thing like UV Monkey comes in.

Put simply, the UV Monkey is a keyring style UV detector. Just pop it outside and it’ll tell you how strong the UV rays are, so you can figure out if it’s time to slap on some sun screen. I’ll admit now, when I received mine in the post, it was a crap day for weather (and has been since!), but I hear that it’s really fast, with the UV rays being detected in seconds. Pretty cool, I don’t like waiting around.

This seems like a really cool little gadget to have if you have visible tattoos when you’re out in the sun- as a victim of last Download Festival’s scorching weather, I’m going to appreciate having this thing around!

This article is not an advertisement for UV Monkey. Please remember to keep pre- healed tattoos covered entirely in strong UV rays.
